FAQ
Q. How much do you charge for weddings?
A. We have standard pricing for our packages; however, it is best to understand your venue, location, estimated guest attendance, and wedding vibe you are planning for before quoting prices.
Q. How far do you travel?
A. In general anywhere within 2 hours of zip code 29010 is covered in our standard pricing. We frequently travel to North Carolina and Georgia and travel cost can be quoted on request.
Q. Do I need the Ceremony add on?
A. As a general rule if you need music and microphones for the ceremony the answer is YES. The one exception being if they are in the exact same location (not just the venue but location at the venue). An example of this would be if a guest could stay in their same seat for the ceremony AND reception without moving then we can discuss whether this add on can be waived.
Q. Can you musicians or vocalist (singers) use your equipment during the ceremony?
A. In short, yes. Musicians can connect to our mixer and we can provide microphones for singers. However, our ceremony system is battery powered and we can not provide electricity (120v power) for musicians instruments, they will be responsible for their own electricity if needed. We can accommodate up to 5 instruments or microphones.
Q. How does the photobooth add on work?
A. The photobooth is a social kiosk. This means it does NOT print photos. Photo collages are sent via email, text message, or airdrop to the guest. You will also receive a link at the end of the event to view/download all photobooth activity.
Q. What is your vibe? How active are you?
A. In general I am more of a passive DJ, meaning I will not be running around with the microphone shouting at your guest or constantly on the microphone promoting myself. I believe weddings are a once in a lifetime day and I should not be the center of attention. I will make all relative announcements and engage with the guest but being a flashy, showboat DJ is not my style. It is my goal to make sure all guest have a wonderful time and to keep the dancefloor full during open dancing.
Q. How do you approach each wedding?
A. I treat each wedding like it is the most important day in two peoples lives, because it is. The utmost care, planning, preparation and execution are key to a successful wedding.
Q. Do you offer discounts for non traditional wedding dates? (Thursday, Friday, Sunday)
A. I do offer discounts for Sunday and Thursday dates. Friday and Saturday dates are premium dates and are regularly booked therefore I can not offer discounts for those dates. Please be sure to ask about special pricing for Sunday through Thursday events.
Q. How does your booking and payment process work?
A. Once date, availability, and packages are agreed upon I will request some detailed information from you. I will then send you a contract and wedding packet. Payment terms are typically:
25% due within 2 weeks of contract date
75% due 2 weeks prior to event date
